Have Labrador, Will Travel

Published by Karen Snyder on

Today my craz(ier) Lab, Xena, plunked herself down in the open carry-on suitcase that was in my office. The suitcase is small, and it fit her perfectly.

I figure she was trying to accomplish one of these things:

1. She is looking to relocate.
2. She wants me to share her scent with whatever other Labradors I might meet on my travels.
3. She thought it looked like a good place to nap.
4. She wanted to check for drugs. Especially Excedrin, which she likes to eat.

What do you think?

I think that she wants to make sure you stay home. There is no way to pack all of your shoes now.

Have a great weekend (at home).

If I were a dog — and I’m not as Blogger.com’s captcha will tell you — but IF I were I think taking a ride in a roller-board style suitcase would be a ton of fun!

I think she thinks she’s a lapdog-sized dog. Has she tried on any of those tiny clothes you see on snack-sized dogs?

I think it’s obvious – she wants to go with you wherever you go!
